Longevity World Forum to Hold Its Fifth Edition from February 10 to 12, 2027

Madrid will once again become the international capital of longevity with the celebration of the fifth edition of the Longevity World Forum (LWF) — one of the world’s leading events focused on longevity and healthy ageing — taking place from February 10 to 12, 2027, at La Nave, the Madrid City Council’s innovation center.

Following the growth experienced in recent editions, Longevity World Forum returns with an expanded and more ambitious program, further consolidating its position as one of the world’s foremost gatherings dedicated to medical longevity, healthy ageing science, age-related medical technology, social impact, and research aimed at improving quality of life.

In this regard, Francisco Larrey Marco (Co-Founder of LWF) stated:

“One of the main conclusions of the Longevity World Forum is the need to work steadily toward the effective implementation of a new healthcare model in which prevention becomes the priority over treatment.”

LWF 2027 will bring together experts, technologists, and scientists from around the world in Madrid to discuss longevity, genetics, geroscience, preventive medicine, and healthy ageing over the course of three days. The forum will showcase the latest scientific breakthroughs in longevity and strategies for extending healthspan and improving quality of life.

Longevity World Forum 2027

The 2027 edition will be structured around three major thematic days designed to connect research, emerging trends, and business opportunities within the global longevity and healthy ageing ecosystem.

The first day, Science Day, will focus on scientific and medical advances related to longevity, preventive medicine, biotechnology, artificial intelligence applied to healthcare, and translational research.

The second day, Trends Day, will explore the major trends transforming the longevity, healthy ageing, and wellness industries, including personalized nutrition, wellness, digital health, biohacking, technology-driven healthy ageing solutions, and new social and economic models associated with increased life expectancy.

The third day, Startup Day, will be dedicated to entrepreneurship and investment, bringing together startups, scaleups, corporations, institutions, and specialized investment funds to showcase innovative projects and foster new opportunities for collaboration and business development.

In addition to its conference and panel discussion program, LWF 2027 will place a stronger emphasis on professional networking and B2B meetings, introducing new dedicated spaces designed to facilitate strategic connections among scientists, technologists, investors, technology companies, institutions, and international professionals from the health and longevity sectors.

The forum will also significantly expand its exhibition area in response to growing interest from companies, startups, and organizations involved in biomedical innovation, healthtech, nutrition, advanced diagnostics, personalized medicine, and wellness.

The goal is to transform the Longevity World Forum into an even more dynamic platform for fostering partnerships, technology transfer, knowledge exchange, and business opportunities within one of the fastest-growing industries worldwide.

Review of the 2026 Edition

Over the past few years, the Longevity World Forum has undergone significant growth, strengthening its international profile following previous editions held in Valencia, Alicante, and Madrid. The 2026 edition, hosted at La Nave, brought together international experts, researchers, business leaders, and institutional representatives to discuss the latest developments in longevity, biotechnology, personalized medicine, artificial intelligence, and healthy ageing.

The 2026 edition confirmed the Longevity World Forum’s position as one of the leading global platforms for discussing the future of longevity and healthy ageing. One of the key conclusions was the growing scientific and societal consensus around prevention as the new standard in healthcare and ageing.

International experts highlighted the importance of anticipating age-related diseases through strategies based on biomarkers, personalized medicine, healthy lifestyle habits, and predictive technologies. The 2026 edition also underscored the increasingly important role of artificial intelligence and biotechnology in transforming healthcare and wellness systems, with the ultimate goal of helping people live longer, healthier lives.
