Linda Partridge

Scientist and member of the Royal Society and the UK Academy of Medical Sciences.

Professor Linda Partridge is one of the most internationally recognized scientists in the field of aging biology and healthy longevity. She is foreign member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina.

She was the founding director of the prestigious Max Planck Institute for Biology of Aging in Cologne, Germany, where she led some of the most influential research on the molecular and genetic mechanisms regulating aging. She is now Emeritus Director of the institute and continues to make a highly influential contribution internationally.
