The Startup Competition Returns: The Longevity World Forum’s Initiative to Promote R&D&I in Longevity and Healthy Aging

The Longevity World Forum is reinforcing its commitment to innovative entrepreneurship with a new edition of the Startup Competition, an initiative designed to identify, promote, and highlight emerging companies with the greatest potential to transform the future of health and quality of life.

The competition, which is part of the official program of LWF 2027, will once again bring together pioneering startups in fields such as biotechnology, digital health, preventive medicine, artificial intelligence applied to healthcare, genetics, and cell regeneration. Its goal is to offer these companies a unique platform to present their solutions to specialized investors, business leaders, researchers, and top-level institutional representatives.

Following the success of the previous edition, which selected eight startups with innovative proposals to address the challenges of healthy aging, the Startup Competition returns, firmly established as one of the forum’s most dynamic and attractive events. Participating projects will have the opportunity to demonstrate the impact of their technologies and accelerate their growth through direct access to potential strategic partners, funding, and expert advice.

Driving the Future of Longevity and Healthy Aging

Against the backdrop of rapid growth in the longevity and healthy aging sector, the Startup Competition represents an exceptional opportunity for early-stage and growth-stage companies. Beyond the competition itself, participants gain access to an international network of experts, researchers, corporations, and investors specializing in one of the markets with the greatest potential for growth over the next decade.

Finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects live during the conference, participate in strategic networking sessions, and compete for awards that include personalized mentoring, media exposure, access to meetings with investment funds, and specialized advice to strengthen their market position and ability to raise capital.

The Longevity World Forum aims to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in the fields of longevity, biotechnology, health, and quality of life. This initiative offers startups the opportunity to present their projects to a panel of investors, corporations, and institutions, with the goal of gaining visibility, funding, and strategic partnerships.

At LWF 2027, startups entering the competition will be eligible for two awards in different categories: the Best Longevity Pitch Award or the Longevity Potential Award.

Winning startups in either category will receive the following recognition: personalized mentoring sessions with industry experts, visibility in conference media and through strategic partners, access to meetings with investment funds and private investors, and tickets to LWF 2028, among other benefits.

The registration period opens on July 29, 2026, and the deadline for submissions is October 31, 2026.
