Longevity World Forum confirms Valencia as its venue in 2019

The first conference on longevity in Europe will once again make Valencia the world scientific capital. This global meeting will be held for the second time on 13 and 14 November at the city’s conference centre.
José Viña

Born in 1953, José Viña is Professor of Physiology at the University of Valencia. He obtained his PhD at Valencia University in 1976 and has honoris causa doctorates from the University of Rennes (France) and the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina).
María Blasco Marhuenda

PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Ramón y Cajal National Award for Research, European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) Gold Medal for best European researcher under the age of 40.
Manuel Perez Alonso

PhD in Biology and Professor of Genetics at the University of Valencia. Communicator and scientist-entrepreneur with projects such as Sistemas Genómicos (Genomic Systems), Valentia BioPharma and Genomic Medicine Institute.
Manuel Corpas

Graduated in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Navarra, Manuel Corpas has worked at the National Institute of Bioinformatics and the Sanger Institute of genome analysis.
